ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) on a 3x12 schedule
• Every other weekend requirement
• Travelers usually do not work holidays depending on schedule and permanent staff availability
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• 6 private beds in a high acuity step-down/low acuity ICU unit
• Will be expected to float to Tele-MedSurg unit
• 1 shift of floor orientation will be provided
• Common diagnoses and patient types include sepsis, COPD, DKA, overdose, renal, surgical, and respiratory issues
• Charting system: TruBridge - Evident (CPSI-Evident)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Will be expected to take an ECG exam on first day
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy: Able to cancel 1 week's worth of guaranteed hours over a 13-week period
