Respiratory Therapist Job in Lafayette, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Franciscan Health Lafayette in Lafayette, Indiana. You will work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, on a 3x12 schedule (36 hours per week) with every other weekend required.

About the Role

You will provide respiratory care across multiple units including ICU, Med Surg, ER, and Level 3 NICU. Your responsibilities include:

• Operate and manage ventilators (PB model, Drager V500, Hamilton C-transport, Oscillator, Jet ventilator) and respiratory support equipment (V60 BiPAP, HHFNC, Bubble CPAP, Aerogen nebulizers)
• Manage Nitric Oxide delivery systems
• Assist with intubations and bedside bronchoscopies
• Monitor and manage BiPAPs, ventilators, and Heated High Flow units
• Chart using the EPIC EMR system
• Work independently with higher acuity patients and heavier workloads as needed

Night shift maintains a minimum staffing of 4–4.5 respiratory therapists. Patient assignments follow an RVU-based system. There are no on-call requirements.

Requirements

You must hold a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and maintain active certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP. You need acute care experience in Med Surg, ER, ICU, and demonstrated Level 3 NICU skills. Willingness to support higher acuity patients and work independently is essential.

What We Offer

Weekly pay is $1,971. The assignment runs for 91 days, with a start date of July 27, 2026. Pewter gray scrubs are required per facility dress code.
