Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Weekend shift coverage Friday through Sunday
• Call requirements will be discussed during interview
• Float within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Cardiovascular/thoracic, Transplant, and Robotics (Thoracic) experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite
• If one or two major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work all holidays; if three major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work two
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills include but are not limited to: CVOR, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Cardiothoracic robotic surgery, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), TEVAR, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Carotid Endarterectomy, Lung resection/Thoracotomy, Mitral valve replacement, aseptic technique, instrument processing, and airway management
