ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Weekend coverage required
• No call required
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Self-scheduling
• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in ER and/or Critical Care required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratios: 4 patients per nurse on days and nights, 3-4 patients per nurse on weekends
• Treat patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage all medical conditions ranging from minor to major life-threatening illnesses and trauma injuries
• Perform emergency medicine procedures including triage, conscious sedation, and telemetry monitoring
• Stabilize critical cardiac, neurological, and major trauma patients for transfer to higher level of care
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, social services, and interpretation services
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, NIHSS
• Current RN license required
