Telemetry RN Job in Charlevoix, MI

Join Charlevoix Area Hospital as a Telemetry RN on the Med Surg unit. You'll provide direct patient care across a 12-bed telemetry unit, working three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This is a 90-day travel assignment starting November 2, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,785.

Your Role

• Care for high-acuity patients with a typical assignment of 4–5 patients, maximum of 6
• Monitor and titrate cardiac medications, including Cardizem drip
• Manage patients on respiratory support, including heated high-flow oxygen
• Provide post-operative care for general surgery, orthopedic, and urology patients
• Respond to acute patient changes using ACLS guidelines and prepare transfers to higher levels of care
• Float to high-acuity units when needed

Schedule & Requirements

• Variable night schedule, 36 hours per week
• Two weekend shifts required per 2-week period
• No holiday shifts required
• Low census on-call responsibilities may apply
• No guaranteed hours; overtime paid after 40 hours per week

Your Team

You'll work alongside CNAs, RNs, and critical care-trained house supervisors in a collaborative environment.

Credentials & Experience

• Current Michigan RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Demonstrated experience in telemetry and cardiac drips
• Experience with respiratory support and heated high-flow systems
• Experience in post-operative care across multiple surgical specialties
