Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Syracuse, NY

SUNY Upstate University Hospital – Downtown Campus in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work day shift, 5 days per week, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with possible evening and weekend on-call responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform routine diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under general supervision
• Operate Siemens EVOSPECT and Phillips Forte imaging cameras
• Prepare and handle radiopharmaceuticals using the NMIS hotlab system
• Manage patient registration and medical records in EPIC
• Operate the Synapse PACS system for image management
• May train and lead other employees as assigned

Required qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential or equivalent
• NYS license or registration in Nuclear Medicine
• ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine, or board-eligible status
• Current CPR certification

This position offers you the opportunity to work within a university hospital system using current diagnostic imaging technology. You will be part of a clinical team performing essential diagnostic procedures for patient care.
