Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Flint, MI

McLaren Flint is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a temporary assignment on the day shift. This is a full-time position working 5x8 hour days, running from June 15, 2026, for 91 days.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging studies at a technical level under general supervision
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to ensure comfort and confidence
• Operate and maintain all assigned nuclear scanning imaging equipment
• Measure and prepare concentrations of radioactive isotopes for diagnostic studies
• Identify, prepare, and administer medications and substances within technologist scope of practice
• Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety protocols
• Maintain required documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats
• Maintain adequate supply of consumables for quality testing
• Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment
• Assist other areas of radiology as assigned

Requirements:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine
• Registered in Nuclear Medicine with ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ARRT certification

Schedule Details:

• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements

Compensation: $2,649.60 per week
