Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Lansing, MI

McLaren Greater Lansing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a temporary assignment. You will work days on a 4x10 schedule, with weekend coverage required every 5th or 6th weekend. This 91-day position offers weekly pay of $2,621 and begins July 27, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of patient exam activities in nuclear medicine imaging to produce high-quality images
• Specialize in performing diagnostic studies in nuclear medicine imaging
• Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns
• Operate and maintain all assigned nuclear scanning imaging equipment
• Measure and prepare concentrations of radioactive isotopes in specified body areas to capture diagnostic images
• Properly identify, prepare, and/or administer medications and substances within your scope of practice
• Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and yourself
• Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats
• Maintain adequate supply of all consumables to perform quality testing
• Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment
• May assist other areas of radiology as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Registration in Nuclear Medicine with ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application preferred

No on-call responsibilities. This is a temporary contract position with a defined end date.
