Physical Therapist Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical's Johnston-Willis Campus as a Physical Therapist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work a 4x10 day schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend shifts required.

About the Role

You'll provide inpatient rehabilitation services with a 4:1 patient ratio, performing manual therapy, neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity training, neuromuscular re-education, self-care instruction, and functional electrical stimulation. Stroke evaluation and treatment experience is required. You may float to the acute hospital setting if rehabilitation census is low.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Stroke evaluation and treatment experience required

Your Team and Environment

You'll work within a collaborative team of 10 OT/PT clinicians, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech. The facility emphasizes AIDET communication and immediate service recovery to enhance patient experience.

Equipment and Systems

You'll use Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego equipment. Documentation is managed through Meditech Expanse.

Compensation and Logistics

Weekly pay is $2,044. Assignment begins November 2, 2026. Dress code includes black scrub bottoms and royal blue top.
