Telemetry RN Job in Towson, MD

Greater Baltimore Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary assignment in Telemetry. You will work 3x12 night shifts for 91 days, starting September 1, 2026, at $2,047.68 per week.

About the Role

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients on the Telemetry unit in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. You will utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess patient data and provide care appropriate to each patient's physical and developmental needs. You are accountable for the quality of nursing services you deliver and those under your direction.

Requirements

• Current Maryland RN license with Nursys verification less than 30 days old
• 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• 2+ years of experience working with stroke patients (must be listed on resume)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered
• Willingness to obtain mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered
• Willingness to obtain Basic EKG certification and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered
• Willingness to take Telemetry patients as needed
• Previous travel healthcare experience required
• No scheduling restrictions—must be willing to work the facility's schedule, including weekends and on-call shifts as determined by the facility
