Telemetry RN Job in Baltimore, MD

Join MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 13, 2026, offering a 3x12 day shift schedule at $1,966 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a 20-room Med Surg/Telemetry unit with ED boarder assignments. Your responsibilities include cardiac telemetry monitoring—both on-unit and remote—along with standard nursing care for adult and geriatric populations. You will manage a 6:1 patient ratio across days, nights, and weekends, and float as needed to maintain the same level of care.

Unit Environment

The unit features strong interdisciplinary support, including respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. You will work collaboratively with these teams and be expected to use rapid response and code team protocols as part of standard care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (compact or Maryland state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience within the last 7 years
• Minimum 1 completed travel assignment
• Strong cardiac telemetry monitoring experience, including remote monitoring
• Experience with ER holding protocols
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam: minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
