Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Rose CO is seeking a travel RN for a seasonal position on the Orthopedics/Neurology unit. This is a 91-day assignment starting October 12, 2026, working nights and earning $1,863 per week.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care on a 36-bed orthopedic and neurology unit during 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You'll work as part of a night team consisting of 1 charge RN, additional RNs based on census, and 1–2 Techs. Patient assignments average 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with 8–12 patients per tech on shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care for patients undergoing orthopedic and spine procedures, including total joints (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgery
• Operate specialized equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Assist with post-operative recovery and patient education
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure quality outcomes

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic or medical/surgical nursing experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Orthopedic or spine experience preferred
