RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:17 PM
• 13-week assignment with possible extension up to 26 weeks
• Nurse-to-patient ratios vary by unit: 1:7 or 1:8 on 5B Floor Neuro Tele, 1:4 on 5T Cardiac Stepdown unit, 1:6 to 1:7 on 6T Post Op
• Must wear ceil blue or white scrubs
• House supervisor must be called for any nurse cancellation at 901-765-1968
• Responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients per shift
• Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated
• Support facility CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care
• Maintain competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Work in various units including Neuro Telemetry, Cardiac Stepdown, and Post-Operative care
