Med Surg RN Job in Nashville, TN

You will work as an RN on a 20-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This is a 91-day travel contract starting July 6, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,918.44.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 2 weekends (4 shifts) required per 4-week schedule
• Patient ratio of 6:1

Unit Environment

• Tech support available on both day and night shifts
• Unit secretary available 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Meditech documentation system
• Equipment: IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, continuous pulse ox machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, and iMobile communication technology

Your Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members
• Conduct bedside shift reports and include patients and family members in plan of care
• Start IVs and perform basic wound care
• Maintain surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Prioritize care and multitask across your assigned patients

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• Med/Surg experience
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required

Floating Policy

Contract labor is first to float by rotation when multiple contract staff are scheduled.
