Med Surg RN Job in Springfield, TN

NorthCrest Medical Center is seeking an RN for its Med Surg unit. You will work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Care for patients with a 5:1 ratio
• Float between MS2 and MS3 units as needed
• Perform blood transfusions and IV and central line maintenance
• Document patient care using the Meditech Expanse system
• Operate Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, and Welch Allyn vital sign machines

Unit Support

Unit secretaries are available during day shift, and techs are present on all shifts to support your workflow.

Required Experience and Credentials

• Basic Med Surg experience with a focus on post-operative patients, especially orthopedic cases
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred but not required

Dress Code

Dark blue scrubs are required.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,051.
