Med Surg RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

You'll work as an RN on a 30-bed Med Surg unit at Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 17, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Your weekly pay is $1,918.44.

Unit Details

• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Unit support includes 2–3 techs per shift, clinical coordinator, charge nurse, manager, and director
• You'll float between 2 North and 2 West units
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No block scheduling guaranteed

Clinical Responsibilities

• IV starts and lab draws on unit
• Nasogastric tube (NGT) placement
• Wound care
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Equipment operation including wound vac, heparin drip, suction, IV pumps, glucometers, bladder scanner, feeding pump, and telemetry
• Documentation using Editech system

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• RN degree

Dress Code

Navy scrubs required. Fleece and sweatshirts are not permitted.
