Med Surg RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, beginning August 3, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries
• Work with specialized equipment including coolers, walkers, sequential compression devices (SCDs), and continuous passive motion machines (CPMs)
• Document patient information using the Meditech system
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and patient navigators
• Participate in floating on a rotation basis as needed

Schedule and Compensation

You will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week. The schedule includes four weekend shifts per rotation cycle. Weekly pay is $1,918.44.

Requirements and Expectations

• Current RN license
• Strong orthopedic background required
• Demonstrated compassion and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Navy scrubs are required as the unit dress code
