Med Surg RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

You'll work as an RN on the 4east medical-surgical unit at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. This is a 30-bed unit in the main hospital building where you'll care for patients with respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, and those requiring telemetry monitoring, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 91-day travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026
• Four weekend shifts required per 28-day schedule
• Participation in holiday rotation as part of scheduling
• Float to other units as needed per rotation policy

Patient Care & Clinical Responsibilities

• 1:6 patient ratios
• Maintain 72% patient experience scores using communication boards
• Document in Meditech system
• Operate equipment including walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, and various medical devices

Team & Support

You'll work alongside clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, PCTs, and case management staff who support unit operations and patient care coordination.

Requirements & Credentials

• RN licensure
• Medical-surgical nursing experience required
• BLS certification
• Navy blue scrubs uniform required

Compensation

Weekly pay: $1,944
