CT Technologist Job in Columbia, SC

MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12 night shifts, Saturday through Monday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no on-call requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray exams for Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage a daily patient census of approximately 40 patients
• Produce high-quality special imaging with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment
• Administer contrast, perform multiplanar reconstruction, and apply radiation safety protocols
• Execute vascular CTA and trauma imaging procedures
• Start peripheral IVs as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (R), and SCRQSA (CT)
• Radiation badge required; provided by agency
• Epic charting system experience required
• Familiarity with Sectra PACS system

Equipment and Environment

You will work with one Siemens CT scanner, two portable Shimadzu X-ray machines, and one GE X-ray room. Scrub colors are black and/or teal. The facility may call off one shift per 2-week period. Free parking with pass provided at start.

Compensation and Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $2,318. Assignment begins November 9, 2026, and runs for 91 days.
