Opportunity:

SLP - SLP Outpatient

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No floating or weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Treat adults and geriatric patient populations
• Average of 7 patient visits per day
• Evaluate and treat deficits involving speech and language, cognitive-linguistic functions, memory, and swallowing
• Address autism evaluation and therapy, cognitive-linguistic functions related to head and brain trauma, and strokes
• Required experience: Adult outpatient
• Required skills: Aphasia, Apraxia, Dementia, and Alzheimer's treatment
• Preferred experience: Language, cognition, dysphagia, brain injuries, apraxia of speech, voice, Parkinson's, and pediatrics
• Preferred skills: Video Fluoroscopy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, and Anoxia
• Epic EMR experience preferred; training completed during orientation
• 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ASHA Certification, Michigan State License
