Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 48-hour weekly guarantee
• Every other weekend required (open to travelers wanting to work only weekends)
• Holidays worked only if they fall on a scheduled work day (Christmas and New Year's only)
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• Floating within facility only
• Set schedule with manager scheduling out 4 weeks at a time
• Handle up to 40-70 respiratory treatments per shift
• Perform breathing treatments, ventilator management, ABG draws and sample processing, and inpatient/outpatient EKGs
• Assist with intubation (not required to intubate independently)
• May be called to initiate CPAP on infants
• Cover all inpatient areas, emergency department, inpatient and outpatient EKGs, and outpatient bronchoscopies in a procedural setting
• Manage up to 8-9 ventilated patients in the ICU at a time
• No critical care transporting outside of the facility required
• Lead therapist or supervisor always available for questions
• ER, ICU, and inpatient adult experience required; pediatric experience preferred with willingness to train
• Pediatric or neonatal experience not required but NRP certification is required
• Professional scrubs of any color required; professional appearance, no long nails, and clean shaven for men
• Ventilator equipment includes Puritan Bennett 840, Hamilton C1, Avea, BiPAP V60, and Vapotherm for high flow
• Charting system: Expanse - hCare
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS, STABLE Certification
