ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients
• Work in a 63-bed emergency department seeing approximately 180 visits per day
• Adult emergency department - pediatrics is separated
• Respiratory therapy available in the department 24/7 to assist with BiPAP and ABGs
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and more
• Travelers may be floated to any campus location as needed
• Self-scheduling environment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, TNCC
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
