Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call rotation required with staff, including occasional weekends and holidays
• Weekend rotation required with staff
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Strong orthopedic (total joints), neurosurgery, and general OR skills required - proficiency in all three areas is mandatory
• Big belly, craniotomy, and orthopedic trauma experience highly preferred
• Robotic surgical training highly preferred
• Serve a patient population including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work in a Level I trauma OR with 25 OR suites and 24/7 on-site nursing coverage
• Services include general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine
• Special equipment includes ROSA, Si and Xi daVinci robots, Stealth, O-Arm, and HIPEC
• Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA, NCCT, or Military OR Tech Certification
• Virginia state license required; out-of-state license holders must obtain VA state license with a 90-day authorization to work while license is being issued
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted
• All requested time off must be included at the time of submission
