MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work a 4/10 schedule Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call hours required
• Pediatric experience required
• Philips MRI equipment experience preferred
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilize specialized radiologic equipment and techniques to perform a diverse range of diagnostic procedures
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed and documented
• Ensure technical quality is consistent with established department protocols and accreditation standards
• Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Provide patient-centric care and support services in a variety of care settings including acute inpatient facilities and outpatient settings
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain competencies
