Opportunity:

RN - Orthopedics

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Orthopedic unit with 30 beds and patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6
• Work alongside 1 charge nurse, 4-6 bedside RNs, and 2-4 PCTs per shift
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care hospital as an Orthopedic RN required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Med/Surg experience preferred
• Perform IV starts, Foley and straight catheterization, CPM application, and early mobilization
• Operate CPM (continuous passive motion) equipment for specialty surgeries, nerve block pumps, and On-Q balls
• Work with diverse patient population including elective orthopedic and orthopedic trauma patients
• EMR system used is Meditech; prior Meditech experience preferred
