Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

You'll work as an RN on a 30-bed orthopedic unit at HCA HealthONE Swedish in Denver. This is a travel assignment for 91 days, starting July 20, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20

Your Role

You'll care for patients on an orthopedic unit managing both elective and trauma cases. Patient ratios run 1:5 or 1:6, and you'll work alongside one charge nurse, 4–6 bedside RNs, and 2–4 PCTs per shift.

Your clinical responsibilities include:

• IV starts, Foley and straight catheterization
• CPM (continuous passive motion) application and operation for specialty surgeries
• Nerve block pump and On-Q ball management
• Early mobilization and post-operative care
• Charting in Meditech EMR

Requirements

• RN license
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience as an orthopedic RN
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Med/Surg experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
