• Evaluate client function and assess physical therapy needs based on referring provider prescriptions or through direct access
• Plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatments to restore function following injury, disease, or physical disability
• Assist patients in reaching their maximum level of independence
• Support patients in learning to function within the limits of their abilities
• Work with a diverse patient population in an acute care setting
