Physical Therapist Job in Carlsbad, NM

Join Carlsbad Medical Center as a Physical Therapist on a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work a day shift schedule Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with one Saturday per month required. This role offers no on-call responsibilities and focuses on both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a primary emphasis on inpatient coverage.

Your responsibilities include:

• Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Provide inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services
• Educate patients on how to prevent or manage their conditions for long-term health benefits
• Develop fitness and wellness-oriented programs to support healthier and more active lifestyles

Requirements:

• Current New Mexico state licensure required; pending NM licensure must be included with submission
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Both inpatient and outpatient experience required
• BLS certification required
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
