Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Truth Or Consequences, NM

Sierra Vista Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient role in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with 4x10-hour day shifts at $2,862 per week.

Role Overview

You will work in an 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient setting, seeing approximately 5 patient visits per day across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Your caseload will include orthopedic conditions such as post-op total knee and hip replacements, back surgeries, and rotator cuff syndrome, as well as neurological conditions including Parkinson's disease, post-cerebrovascular accident, and neural impingements. You will also treat gait dysfunction, balance disorders, vertigo, falls and fall prevention, fibromyalgia, and pain management cases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver manual therapy and myofascial release techniques
• Apply Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) skills in patient treatment
• Utilize ultrasound and electrical stimulation equipment
• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled
• Document patient care in the Cerner charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; new graduates or PTs with less than 1 year of experience considered if they have strong outpatient and inpatient clinical backgrounds
• Travel experience required—first-time travelers are not accepted
• Valid New Mexico PT license (may be pending upon submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
