OR Registered Nurse Job in Appleton, WI

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Thedacare Medical Center Orthopedics, Spine and Pain in Appleton, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week travel contract with a start date of October 5, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with variable start times as early as 6:00 AM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Stay late as needed to finish cases
• Stay over shifts assigned 1-2 times per week when cases run late
• No on-call, call back, weekend rotation, or holiday rotation requirements
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence

Role Details

• Approximately 20-25 cases per day
• Primary case types include Ortho-Spine, Pain, Neuro, Peds (a few times per month), Anterior & Posterior Fusions, ALIFT, TLIF, Discectomy, Hand/Upper Extremity, and Podiatry
• Equipment utilized includes Stealth, Mazor, and Rosa for total knees
• Float to all ThedaCare facilities as needed within a 60-mile radius
• Scrub colors provided

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of overall nursing experience
• Minimum 2+ years of OR experience
• Ortho-Spine and Neuro experience required
• Moderate sedation and Neuro experience desired
• Epic charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• At least one completed travel contract required
• Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS required
