ED RN Job in Gadsden, AL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama. This is a 13-week travel contract starting November 16, 2026.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule includes every other weekend
• Weekly pay: $1,931
• Contract duration: 91 days

About the Role:

You will provide direct care to emergency room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with Alabama Nurse Practice Act standards and hospital policies. Your responsibilities include demonstrating critical thinking and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning safe patient care delivery. You will delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience levels, provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel, and maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Alabama with no disciplinary history
• 1–2 years of recent emergency department experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
