ED RN Job in Gadsden, AL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Department at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama. You will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, earning $1,956 per week.

About the Role

As an ED RN, you will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan for safe delivery of patient care
• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegating patient care priorities commensurate with staff education and experience
• Providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Ensuring shift accountability for the care of Emergency Room patients

Requirements

• Current Alabama nursing license with no hits
• 1–2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Assignment Details
