CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call required
• Floating required - rotating through all buildings when needed
• Floating to sister facilities required
• Attendance at all mandatory staff meetings required
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required, including Siemens Force, Siemens Go.Top, and Siemens Somatom Definition
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Perform routine studies, outpatient imaging, cardiac imaging, and Interventional Radiology procedures
• Perform CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
• Perform advanced procedures including brain perfusion, vascular CTA, coronary CTA, carotid studies, colonography, and enterography
• Perform interventional procedures including biopsies, aspirations, and drainage
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform multiplanar reconstruction and 3D rendering
• Start peripheral IVs and follow radiation safety protocols
• Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency - facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Charting system: Epic
• Parking: Nights and weekends only - one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
• Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
• South Carolina license required and must be in hand at time of start
