Respiratory Therapist Job in Peru, IL

OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all units and departments as needed within the facility
• Based in a 12-bed med/surg unit within a small rural hospital setting

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform general respiratory therapy including nebulizer treatments, arterial blood gases (ABGs), BiPAP, and ventilator management
• Administer Neopuff and high-flow therapy
• Operate equipment including Servo Classic, Servo Lite, V60, Parapac, Vapotherm, and EKG machines
• Chart using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Work in an acute care setting providing direct patient support

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification via NBRC
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification via NBRC
• BSN not required
