Respiratory Therapist Job in Peoria, IL

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. You will work the night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required and every other holiday required. Weekly pay is $2,332.80.

Role Responsibilities

• Care for general medical, intermediate, and ICU patients including adults, pediatrics, and neonates
• Assign approximately 26–28 points per day using the AARC point system
• No floating requirements within the Respiratory Therapy department
• No on-call or standby call requirements

Facility Details

• Large critical care facility with 300+ beds
• Hospitalist and intensivist available in-house 24/7
• Team lead available on each shift as a resource, not taking assignments
• Charting system: EPIC

Equipment You Will Use

• Primary ventilators: Servo U, Servo i, and LTV
• Trilogy for BiPAP/CPAP
• ResMed S9 for CPAP
• Fisher Paykel for heated high flow

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
• Experience in critical care required
• Experience in a large critical care facility of 300 beds or more required
• RRT preferred over CRT
