Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at MUSC Health Orangeburg, supporting adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures.

Schedule and Commitment

• 4 ten-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required Monday through Saturday for post-PCI patients requiring return to the lab
• Call commitment 2–3 days per week
• Occasional weekend STEMI coverage as scheduled
• Guaranteed hours subject to facility call-offs (approximately 1 shift per 2 weeks)
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities

Clinical Environment

• Team of 3 full-time RNs, 1 procedure room, and pre/post procedure area with 4 bays
• Pre/post area staffed by 2 registered nurses
• Daily census of 4 patients
• Role includes circulating procedures, scrubbing, monitoring procedural sedation, and administering procedural sedation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license required before start date
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Epic or Cerner charting system experience preferred

Compensation and Duration

• Weekly pay: $2,542
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: November 17, 2026
