Med Surg RN Job in Vicksburg, MS

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit at Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg, Mississippi. This is a 13-week travel contract with a start date of September 28, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Weekly pay: $1,937

Position Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care on the Med Surg unit, supporting patients through their hospital stay. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and coordination with the interdisciplinary care team. You will work alongside experienced nursing staff in a collaborative environment.
