OR Circulator RN Job in Cape Girardeau, MO

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for their Operating Room in Cape Girardeau, MO. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Day shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,051
• Maximum of 3 Fridays or Mondays off per 6-week schedule
• On-call rotation approximately every 6–7 days with rotating weekend call
• Some scheduled late shifts with flexibility to stay as needed (not counted as on-call)

Clinical Focus

You will primarily support neuro surgery cases while maintaining general surgery responsibilities across urology, gynecology, and orthopedic procedures. Your experience and skill will be essential to case flow and patient safety.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of neuro-specific circulating experience
• Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic system for general surgery, urology, and GYN cases
• Orthopedic surgery experience including scopes and arthroplasty
• Proficiency with Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system

What You'll Do

As an OR Circulator, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care while serving as a patient advocate. You will collaborate closely with surgical teams, demonstrate flexibility across case types, and contribute to a supportive team environment. Hospital-provided scrubs are available for use in the OR; black scrubs are required when working outside the OR.
