Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours guaranteed)
• ASAP start with orientation every Monday
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience mandatory
• IR experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, and fluoro permit
• MD license required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Scrubbing for IR, vascular, and pain procedures is mandatory
• Proficiency in operating the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm required
• Handle interventional procedures including tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, and PEG tube placements
• Perform pain management procedures such as epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations
• Conduct vascular procedures including angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, and IVC filter placements
• Work with adults and geriatric patients in a 2-room unit
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
