Cath Lab Technologist Job in Baltimore, MD

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, serving adult and geriatric patients in a high-paced interventional cardiology environment. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x10 day shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,872.80
• Call required: 1 to 2 weeknight call shifts (Monday–Friday) and 3 to 24 hours of weekend call per month
• 36 hours of orientation

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Daily census: 12 to 20 patients
• Work in both scrub and circulator roles as needed

Required Certifications and Skills

• BLS, ACLS
• CCI RCIS or ARRT R (Maryland state license required if ARRT)
• Interventional Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Stent Placement, Right and Left Heart Catheterization, Rotablator, Thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, Balloon Angioplasty
• Scrub and sterile field maintenance

Preferred Skills

• Cerner charting system
• Acute Monitoring and Room Circulator functions
• ACIST device, Watchman Procedures, Impella Insertion, TAVI/TAVR

Special Procedures and Equipment

You will perform Right and Left Heart Caths, Stents, Angioplasty, FFR, Rotablator, PFO closures, TAVR, and Structural Heart procedures using Philips and Mac Lab systems.

The facility provides scrubs and offers interdisciplinary support from IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams. You will function in a team-oriented setting where efficiency and collaboration are essential.
