Respiratory Therapist Job in Watertown, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel contract at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY. You will work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 3x12 schedule at $2,443 weekly pay.

About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will manage ventilator care and respiratory support for patients in acute settings. Your responsibilities include:

• Establishing and adjusting patient ventilator settings using metric measurements and advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, and time relationships
• Applying knowledge of acid-base and electrolyte relationships to guide clinical decisions in life-threatening situations
• Documenting and collaborating with the care team using the Meditech EMR system
• Providing direct patient care aligned with respiratory therapy protocols and facility standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited school for Respiratory Care
• New York State Respiratory Therapist license
• RRT registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP and PALS certifications preferred
• Must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility

Assignment Details

Contract duration is 13 weeks, with a start date of October 5, 2026. Night shifts offer a structured schedule and the opportunity to work in a focused critical-care environment. You will join an established healthcare team and contribute your expertise to patient outcomes during the evening and night hours.
