CVICU RN Job in Gastonia, NC

CaroMont Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This is a night shift travel position offering you the opportunity to provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular patients in a dynamic acute care setting.

Role Overview

You will deliver direct patient care in the CVICU, working with patients requiring advanced cardiac monitoring and life support equipment. Your responsibilities include assessing patient status, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining detailed clinical documentation. You'll support patients recovering from cardiac procedures, managing acute cardiac conditions, and transitioning through critical phases of care.

Schedule and Duration

• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: August 10, 2026
• Location: Gastonia, NC

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,264.40

What You'll Need

You must hold an active RN license and be available to interview. Interview times are available 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET. Your scheduling flexibility for the interview process is essential to moving forward with this opportunity.

Work Environment

The CVICU serves as a specialized unit focused on cardiovascular patient care. You will work alongside cardiologists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other clinical staff to ensure comprehensive, evidence-based care.
