ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assigned to the CCU Coronary Care Unit with 26 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift team includes 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Work with equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia equipment
• Perform typical unit procedures including heart catheterizations, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, cardioversion, central lines, and medication drips
• EMR system used is Meditech; prior Meditech experience preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units preferred
• Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive and engaged attitude
