ICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit. This 91-day travel assignment offers 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) at $2,349 per week, beginning August 24, 2026.

Role Details

You will be assigned to a 26-bed coronary care unit with a patient ratio of 1:2. The night shift team includes 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and caring for acute cardiac patients, performing typical unit procedures, and collaborating with an experienced care team.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Heart catheterizations
• Balloon pump management
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
• Hypothermia protocols
• Cardioversion procedures
• Central line placement and management
• Medication drips and hemodynamic monitoring

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech EMR experience
• Travel experience to large facility ICU units
