ICU RN Job in Wichita, Kansas

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Coronary Care Unit (CCU) assignment with 26 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift team consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech
• Neuro ICU experience is required - candidates without this will not be considered
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Work with specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
• Perform and assist with procedures including heart catheterizations, cardioversions, central lines, and medication drips
• EMR system: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
• Prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units preferred
