ICU RN Job in Overland Park, KS

Join Overland Park Regional Medical Center as an RN in our 25-bed Intensive Care Unit. This is a 91-day travel position offering a 3x12 day shift schedule starting September 21, 2026. You will earn $1,982 weekly.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care with a 1:2 patient ratio in a critical care environment. Your responsibilities include performing and assisting with procedures such as open heart recovery, cardioversions, bronchoscopy, CRRT, and Impella support. You will document using the MediTech system and utilize Alaris pumps and GE monitors for patient management.

Unit Environment

The unit operates with self-scheduling, with the requirement to work every third weekend. Charge nurse and unit secretary support are available from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Travel and agency staff are first to float to telemetry to accept patients or assist other areas as needed. Please note that tech and educator support are not available on the unit.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Critical care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to change
• Neuro and trauma experience a plus
