ICU RN Job in Overland Park, Kansas

You will work as an RN in a 25-bed Intensive Care Unit at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026, with 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). You will earn $2,410 per week with 48 guaranteed hours.

Unit Environment

• 1:2 patient ratio
• Self-scheduling with every 3rd weekend required
• Charge nurse and unit secretary support available (7:00 AM to 11:00 PM); no tech on unit
• Travel and agency staff are first to float to telemetry to accept patients or assist as a resource in other areas

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with open heart recovery, bedside cardioversions, bronchoscopy, CRRT, and Impella procedures
• Utilize Alaris pumps and GE monitors
• Document in MediTech system
• Follow AIDET patient experience standards

Requirements

• Critical care experience required; neuro and trauma experience a plus
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to change
• Royal Blue scrubs required
