ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed
• Must float as needed within the facility
• 1+ years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• Patient ratios: ICU 1:2-3 depending on acuity, stepdown 1:4
• Work with 12 ICU beds and 6 stepdown beds in combined unit
• ICU beds monitored by teleICU 24/7 in addition to admitting providers
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Work with Spacelab bedside monitors for both ICU and stepdown patients
• May handle overflow patients on both units
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Monitor, record and communicate patient conditions
• Serve as primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs
