Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Antioch, CA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Sutter Health Delta Medical Center in Antioch, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 5x8 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend and on-call coverage as needed based on unit census.

What you'll do:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Support electrophysiology (EP) lab cases including pacemaker insertion, AICD programming, and arrhythmia management
• Work with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), TAVR, Watchman procedures, and IABP placement and removal
• Perform and assist with vascular, neurovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Scrub and circulate during procedures
• Manage hemodynamic monitoring including pulmonary artery and Swan-Ganz monitoring
• Execute sheath removal, vascular closure systems, and post-procedure monitoring
• Assist with cardioversion, external compression devices, and emergency medications

What we need from you:

• Current RN license in California
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• LTAC experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

You'll care for adult and geriatric patients in a skilled procedural environment. Weekly pay is $3,016. Assignment begins November 3, 2026.
