Opportunity:

RN - Orthopedics

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts or 4x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Floating required as needed to like units based on skill set
• Weekend coverage every other weekend (may change based on need)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedics specialty required
• Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license required
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient ratio experience of 6 patients
• Unit census of 15-20 patients with 30 beds
• Required skills include blood product administration, peripheral line care and management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry, total joint replacement, med/surg, orthopedic trauma, feeding tube care and management, colostomy/ileostomy management, PICC line management, central line blood draw, and peripheral nerve block catheters
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Medication system used is Omnicell
