Med Surg RN Job in Clarksville, TN

Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg position. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three shifts per week, in a float pool role across five Med/Surg units. This is a 91-day assignment beginning November 16, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult populations (18+) in general Med/Surg settings
• Float across assigned Med/Surg units as needed to support census
• Float to the Emergency Room when required
• Work weekend shifts as scheduled
• Work 2 of 3 holiday shifts during the assignment
• Manage patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:6
• Document and communicate using the Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Current RN license: Tennessee state license or valid compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• BLS certification required
• Navy scrubs per facility dress code

Compensation and Details

• Weekly pay: $2,308
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
